Who will be the Chairman of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Cell in Assam?

In Assam, the State government has set up a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Cell for implementation of DBT across schemes in the Country and to coordinate efforts at the State Level in taking the DBT initiative forward with immediate effect. Chief Secretary, Assam will be the Chairman and Addl. Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary; Finance Department will be the Convenor. The Cell will Coordinate with Central Ministries & disseminate the directives to the respective Departments in States.
