The Union Cabinet has given its approval to include people in the Other Backward Classes list from which states?

The Union Cabinet gave its approval to notify inclusion/amendments in the Central List of Other Backward Classes. The change was notified in respect of states of Assam, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. The changes will enable the persons belonging to these castes/ communities to avail the benefits of reservation.
