The Government of India and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed a $26 Million Loan Agreement on 8 March 2019. The loan will be used for improving drainage infrastructure in Dibrugarh town of Assam under the Assam Urban Infrastructure Investment Program. The Program is helping to improve solid waste management and drainage infrastructure in Guwahati and Dibrugarh.
