The construction work of the Rs. 500-crore Pagladiya Multipurpose Dam project in Nalbari district of _________ will begin from February 2019.

The Construction work of the Rs.500 crore Pagladiya Multipurpose Dam Project in Nalbari District of Assam has began from February 2019. This project has benefits to irrigate about 54,160 ha and incidental power generation of 3 MW. It was bulit across Pagladiya River at Thalkuchi in Baksa District which comes under Bodoland Territorial Autonomous Districts (BTAD) in Assam. This dam is also helpful in moderation floods in the Assam region.
