The Central Government has banned which news channel for allegedly violating programming guidelines?

NDTV is the not the only news channel that will be taken off air for a day on November 9. The Centre has imposed a one-day black out penalty on the news channel based out of Assam for allegedly violating programming guidelines. As per the directive issued by the I&B ministry ‘News Time Assam’ will be taken off air on November 9. The government's action has been criticised by the Editors Guild of India.
