In Assam , the Rangia Division of the North-East Frontier Railway has achieved success in avoiding deaths of wild animals while crossing tracks. Special honey bee sound system has been installed at 21 locations. These instruments proved useful in avoiding the deaths of elephants as honey bee sounds distract elephants. This instrument will be installed in five more places.
