Majuli district is located in which state?

Majuli district is the biggest river island in the world located in Assam. On December 15 the Assam Government has initiated a project to make the river island Majuli as the first ever Carbon Neutral District in India. To achieve this goal, the Department of Environment and Forest has launched a project 'Sustainable Action for Climate Resilient Development in Majuli'. The project has been initiated to combat climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
