First ever Sylhet-Silchar festival was celebrated on 2nd December, 2022. It is the festival celebrating cultural ties between India and Bangladesh. In which state/UT of India the festival was celebrated?

On 2 nd Dec, 2022, both counterparts India and Bangladesh decided to celebrate their 1st festival for celebrating the linguistic and cultural ties between both the countries. The festival is to be held in Barak Valley, Silchar of Assam state. It coincides with India's 75 years of independence and 50 years of liberation of Bangladesh from Pakistan.
