Bangladesh shares its boundary with Indian states including Assam, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya and, Bengal. It does not share its border with Jharkhand. A 4,096 km long border is shared by India and Bangladesh and is known to be the fifth-longest land border of the world. The Bangladeshi divisions which are situated along the border are Rajshahi, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Chittagong, and Sylhet.
